DR. RUJA INGNATOVA
The founder and Chief Operating Officer of Onecoin and its network is Dr. Ruja Ignatova. She was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She did her degree in Law from Oxford University, did her Master's in Economics from university of Konstanz and did her Ph.D in Law from University of Oxford and Konstanz, Thesis on Corporate Litigation within European Union.
After completing a doctorate successfully, she taught comparative law between the English, the French and the German legal systems for a while. During her studies, she was a member of the Christian Democratic Party and a youth leader of the party.
The next challenge that Ignatova faced was her studies at Oxford. She won a scholarship for Master’s degree in Law, but quickly realized that she doesn’t like law and wants to work something related to numbers, investments, economy. So, she started working for McKinsey& Company- an international company which is a leader in consulting services. Ignatova was quickly promoted to project manager and after that she was invited to become a partner. During her stay in the company she worked for Deutsche Bank, Allianz, Russian and Romanian banks and some Bulgarian banks.
In 2012 she was awarded "Business Woman of the Year" in Bulgaria (Category International Business). On her experience she did Consulting work for several CryptoCurrency companies. Currently Dr. Ruja Ignatova is part of the management team of Crypto Real Investment Trust – an investment fund with assets worth 100 million dollars. Some time ago Dr. Ignatova published a book about finance and personal development – “Learning for Profit”, which is a part of the virtual university for e-currency “Crypto Real University”. The book was officially presented by Ruja Ignatova during a conference in Hong Kong in June 2014. All 478 copies of the book were sold during the first two hours. 22 copies from the first edition were given to business partners of Dr. Ignatova from China and Dubai.
